A greater difference between QRS complex T-wave angle directions marker abnormal electrical activity in several patient populations, but comparison these two modalities never performed. The total cosine R T (TCRT) is an ECG descriptor that accounts for depolarization-repolarization synchrony by measuring their directions. purpose this study was compare TCRT patients referred RVP LBBAP anti-bradycardia therapy. Methods recordings from 134 (82 LBBAP, 52 RVP) were classified into groups, narrow wide QRS, depending on patient’s duration prior implantation. In post-implantation state, index calculated median beat each patient. Singular value decomposition applied eight independent leads (I, II, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6). wave loops three-dimensional space determined first three components decomposition. computed average cosines angles maximum direction. More positive values corresponded more synchronized depolarization repolarization processes while negative indicated larger differences orientation and, therefore, dyssynchronization. Results showed took both techniques, indicating generated dyssynchronization repolarization. Nevertheless, groups significantly (p<0.01) than LBBAP. We hypothesize cardiac memory induced could account values. any case, did not increase loop orientations much RVP. Conclusion induces less dyssynchrony process.

Differing effects of right ventricular pacing and left bundle branch block on left ventricular function.
OBJECTIVE To compare the different effects of right ventricular pacing and classic left bundle branch block on left ventricular function. DESIGN Retrospective and prospective study of 48 patients by electrocardiography, and M mode, cross sectional, and Doppler echocardiography. SETTING A tertiary cardiac referral centre. PATIENTS 48 patients (age range 21 to 89 years, 15 women), 24 with a...
متن کاملRight bundle branch block during transvenous ventricular pacing.
Cardiac pacing through a transvenous catheter located in the right ventricle usually produces a pattern of left bundle branch block (LBBB). When right bundle branch block (RBBB) occurs during apparent right ventricular pacing, a complication (perforation or malposition of the catheter) has usually occurred. In the patient reported here, uncomplicated right ventricular transvenous pacing produce...
متن کاملBody surface map patterns of altered depolarization and repolarization in right bundle branch block.
Surface maps from 14 patients with right bundle branch block were analyzed throughout depolarization and repolarization. The abnormalities in depolarization found in all the subjects were 1) epicardial breakthrough that was delayed and shifted to the left, and 2) development of right upper anterior positivity during the midportion of depolarization. In eight patients, this positivity manifested...

Left ventricular function during and after right ventricular pacing.
OBJECTIVES The aim of this research was to evaluate right ventricular pacing effects on left ventricular function. BACKGROUND Right ventricular pacing alters the ventricular activation sequence and reduces left ventricular ejection fraction (EF). It is unclear whether the observed reduction in EF can be completely attributed to the alteration in activation sequence. METHODS Twelve subjects ...
